Dr Karuna Raja is a highly regarded consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist. She is a VMO at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Sydney, as well as a Fellow in Pelvic & Laparoscopic Surgery at both Liverpool Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. Dr Raja has over 14 years of experience in private practice, specialising in high risk obstetrics, menstrual disorders and urogynaecology.
Initial consultation fees for gynaecology or pregnancy appointments $350.
Follow-up consultation fees $200 for gynaecology and $140 for pregnancy visits.
Additional fees apply for procedures performed in rooms (e.g. colposcopy/ Mirena Insertion/ Biopsy/ Polyp removal).
Cancellation / non-attendance policy
We will send a SMS reminder one week prior to your appointment. Cancellation within 48 hours of your appointment or no show may incur a cancellation fee (50% of appointment fee).
New patient policy
If you are a new patient, please arrive 15 minutes before your appointment time to complete a new patient form. Please bring your Medicare card. All patients are advised to bring an up to date referrals, blood results, ultrasound images (important)/ reports and any relevant additional information.
COVID-19 policy
We are restricted to a limited number of people in our waiting area. If possible please come alone and we can phone in your partner.
Pregnant patients can bring their partners for some of the visits with prior approval.
Other practice policy
We encourage you to contact our office by email or phone if you require additional information. Most services are eligible for a Medicare rebate with a current Medicare card and GP referral letter.
Pregnant patients are recommended to make their first appointments by 10 weeks pregnant.
